Xuecheng Xiong
Decentralization is the process of distributing power, decreasing the hierarchies in an organization, and eliminating the intermediaries in transactions. Decentralization in design describes our vision of the future of the collaboration model between designers, reconstructs the relationship between designers and audiences. Decentralization makes communication on the Internet more reliable and accessible to a broader range of users. This thesis proposes a claim to integrate the concept of decentralization as a methodology into the design process, in order to improve efficiency, quality as well as professionalism within the collaboration between designers and to facilitate designers and target audiences to build a closer connection to provide a design with empathy.
