Seeking Authenticity through Internet Memes
Jin Tian
The creation of Internet memes itself is for emotional transmission and emotional expression. Users create and spread memes to realize their identity and seek group cultural identity. Memes are communicational tools. It can promote mutual recognition between members, as well as outside the group spread cultural significance. However, memes are always after the user or the creator of iterative processing and forming, and it is widely believed that memes are created as virtual reality. So whether memes can be used as a method for authenticity in design has potentials.

People like making fun of Trump by making Memes out of his pictures. I created a funny effect by placing Trump's face on the user's face to see if it would distract the user and change their perception of Trump.
